Well, we had a great documentary screening last week. People came from
all different cities to learn about Upper Cervical Care. There was something
that I mentioned that night after the film ended that I thought could use
repeating. I had been thinking during the film about what separates Upper
Cervical from other paradigms in healthcare. Having been a patient of just
about every type of doctor in the U.S. before finding an Upper Cervical doc
(cheers to you, Dr. Weller), I had a chance to see different philosophies and
practices. Here's the thought that I received last week...
Do You Understand What Doctors Do?
I think, in order to determine what type of physician you should see, it's of
paramount importance to understand what that type of physician can offer you.
First, though, you need to have the fundamental understanding that doctors don't
heal people. Perhaps your lip just curled or your brow just furrowed. It's
true. Doctors don't heal people. Doctors are facilitators. PEOPLE heal
PEOPLE. Healing is the result of the body just figuring things out, no
different than plants grow. It's just the nature of things. So, if you
understand that you heal you, then you can move on to figuring out what
different types of physicians offer you.
Medical Doctors - The absolute best in the business at diagnosing and naming
your health woes, they facilitate for you the knowledge of what parts of the
body are dis-eased. They have all of the latest and greatest technology to test
and image and scan until they find increases or decreases in fluid levels,
hormone levels, cell growth, etc.
Physical Therapists - They are the facilitators of rehabilitation, employing
numerous techniques and exercises for muscular, joint, and tendon therapy.
Chiropractors - The general D.C. is a facilitator for the treatment of
musculoskeletal pain, numbness, and tingling.
Upper Cervical Practitioners - Having run the gamut of health care paradigms, I
can honestly say that Upper Cervical Care is the only one that I've encountered
that does not seek to treat, but rather to facilitate actual HEALING.
Our/their job is to remove a fundamental blockage that prevents your body from
healing normally and foundational problem that prevents your body being

New Year, New You
For those participating in our program, I hope that you've been able to stick
with it. Submission of your progress charts are due by next Friday. I have
really enjoyed the experience, personally. This is the best I've ever felt in
my life and the most sound of mind that I've ever been that I'm doing all that I
can to ensure my own health. I hope that you feel the same.
Thinking good things for you, as always,
